About the Home

Crafted by Log Homes of Yellowstone, 187 Briar Woods Lane brings authentic Western character to the North Georgia mountains through distinctive materials, handcrafted details, and a design created around gathering. Blue & buggy wood walls and soaring wood ceilings establish the home’s rustic personality, while a dramatic wall of windows frames breathtaking long-range mountain views.

At the heart of the main living area, a rustic metal fireplace with a wild willow mantle creates a striking focal point. The kitchen continues the home’s handcrafted aesthetic with a double-sided breakfast bar topped by two-inch walnut live-edge countertops, complemented by a convenient butler’s pantry designed to support both everyday living and entertaining.

One of the home’s most distinctive features is its custom Western wet bar, complete with an epoxy river center containing fossils and other treasures to discover, along with a wine cooler. A wagon-wheel chandelier, custom wood furnishings, and carefully considered Western-themed details reinforce the sense that this is a home with its own unmistakable personality. The main-level primary suite provides a private retreat, while upstairs two Western-themed guest rooms, a full bath, and versatile loft offer additional space for family and visitors.

Outdoor living extends the experience beyond the walls of the home with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and relaxing hot tub. Together, these spaces create an inviting setting for dining, entertaining, and enjoying the mountain surroundings, completing a custom retreat that pairs craftsmanship and comfort with a distinctly Western point of view.
