About the Home

This fabulous hand-crafted home speaks to the history of log homes through modern wood working, custom interior and exterior finishes, trim work and handmade furnishings fashioned from Aspen, Lodge Pole and Douglas Fir all hand cut by the builder himself! The logs for this true log home were cut from western standing dead timber, which are super dry and will not settle.

The flooring throughout is signature circular sawn pine. There is a roomy master bedroom with a wrought iron spindle loft for extra sleeping space. The uniquely creative master bath boasts a copper tub with faucets resting in a cedar stump and a waterfall emptying into it.

Company can rest peacefully on the hanging bed in one of the guest rooms. There is plenty of room to relax and entertain in the oversized open kitchen/dining/living area complete with a custom built bar and western saddle barstools and a handy Butler’s Pantry with an additional dishwasher. And as an extra bonus there are fossil counter tops from a quarry in Kemmerer, Wyoming along with beautiful eastern red cedar cabinets.

The breathtaking views can be enjoyed from inside through the wall of windows, from the porch next to the cozy outdoor fireplace or while relaxing in the hot tub. There is also plenty of room for everyone to gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows in the evening.

With a 1 car garage and single carport, there is plenty of extra storage and room for all the outdoor toys and vehicles. The home is private yet just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge for shopping and dining or to get away to great outdoors for hiking, fishing, vineyards, boating, biking and so much more!
