Plan Your Parade Experience

The Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes spans a beautiful and diverse region, with homes located throughout the greater Blue Ridge area and surrounding communities.

For the best experience during the Parade, we strongly recommend using the official Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes mobile app. The app is the most reliable tool for navigating from home to home, accessing directions, and accessing real-time updates as you tour.

The official Parade app is available for both Apple and Android devices and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play before you arrive.

Our online Google Map is available in advance and is a helpful tool for exploring the overall layout of the Parade. It allows you to view the location of each home within the broader region and begin planning routes before the Parade begins. In many cases, this map is published before the mobile app is available, making it a valuable early planning resource. It also serves as a reliable backup reference alongside the app during Parade weekend.

Know Before You Go

A little planning goes a long way. Review key navigation and access details to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable Parade experience.
  • Use the Parade app to navigate between homes. It is the easiest and most reliable option.
  • Cell service may vary. Set directions to your next home before leaving, using WiFi when available.
  • Be aware navigation routes will vary depending on your starting point, whether coming from another home, a restaurant, or a nearby stop.
  • Use the interactive map or magazine directions as a backup if app or GPS access is limited.
  • Follow posted signs and on site directions when arriving at each home.
  • Some homes require parking or shuttle access. Allow extra time and carpool when possible to reduce congestion.
  • Homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please plan accordingly, as entry is not permitted outside these hours.
  • Please note that homes and parking areas may have limited accessibility for guests with mobility needs due to terrain and site conditions.
  • The Parade runs for three days. Plan your visits to each home at a comfortable pace and drive safely.
