LOG HOMES OF YELLOWSTONE
Perched high on a ridge overlooking spectacular views, this fabulous hand-crafted home speaks to the history of log cabins. Through modern wood working, the custom interior and exterior finishes incorporate local White Pine, Aspen, Lodge Pole, Douglas Fir and even Teak from South America.
The logs are cut from standing dead timber from Wyoming, which are dry and will not twist or settle. This latest masterpiece by Log Cabins of Yellowstone boasts 3,600 square feet with 2 floors of expansive living, dining and rec/media space, along with FOUR master suites, ALL skillfully designed to maximize the breath-taking views. There is plenty of room to entertain on the main floor, complete with a custom-built bar made from a 75-year-old reclaimed Timber frame and 3 hand tooled western saddle barstools. Company can play in the oversized lower-level rec/media space, and even rest peacefully on the uniquely creative hanging bed in one of the terrace level guest rooms! The dead aspen used to make the beds was harvested by the builder and the furniture maker in the Bridger Teton National Forest in Wyoming.
Be captivated by the views as you soak in the hot tub and immerse in the great outdoors from any of the numerous decks, patios, or screened porch. The custom fire-pit is perfect for enjoying glorious mountain evenings surrounded by friends. There is plenty of extra storage and room for all the outdoor toys in the recreation vehicle garage/storage unit and single carport.
There is no end to the quality finishes in this relaxing sanctuary, including the charred log column from a forest fire in WY, the whisky barrel vanity and petrified wood basins, signature circular-sawn pine floors and the chandelier crafted from a cannon wheel from the War of 1812, tastefully stacked with antlers. The gas fireplace has lovely accents of rough sawn wood and tin roofing.
This is a true slice of heaven just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with all the pleasures of mountain living.
