The Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes held its third annual awards banquet at Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard and Winery on Friday, May 6, 2022, awarding $130,000 in scholarships to 13 local students representing Gilmer, Fannin, and Union counties (GA), and Polk County (TN).

The Blue Ridge Parade of Homes held its second annual awards banquet at Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard and Winery on Friday, May 7, 2021, awarding $50,000 in scholarships to five local students representing Gilmer, Fannin, and Union counties. Award recipients included Lexi McGill and Gabe Lera from Fannin County High School, Raul Gonzalez and Issac Bradshaw from Gilmer County High School, and Jeremy Stover from Union County High School.
